All businesses have a social responsibility. This responsibility
does not end with business paractices nor ones customers. It extends to the
communities in which a business operates and the world as a whole. Printech
Unlimited very much maintains that there are more telling ways in which to
measure the success of a company than a simple P&L statement. One way of
course is customer satisfaction and loyalty... another is being able to contribute to
and make a difference to people and organizations who are NOT your customers.
Printech Unlimited is proud to have, over the years, contrubuted time and
resources to worthy causes as broadranging as Bay Area fund drives for ALS
research, to the establishment and construction of animal shelters in Central
America.
In this world there is certainly no shortage of worthy causes. We’ve found that
one of the best ways to effectily make a difference, is to tap into the personal
passions and convictions of our employees, the idea that personal energy is often
better than simply a blank check.

One example:
As a part time resident of Belize, company President Vivian Yu spends much time in a small island community. It’s the type of community where everyone knows everyone. It’s also in the midst of one of the most pristine (and delicate) marine enviornments in the world. So when friend Mito Paz, head of Green Reef (one of the only existing non-profit enviornmental groups in the country) was struggling to put together educational material and raise annual funds, lending a hand was all but obvious. Today, Printech Unlimited is proud to donate all of Green Reefs printing needs for educational material, such as their countrywide “Manatees Matter To Me” campaign.
As an animal lover (and happy guardian of 11 dogs, 5 cats and 4 birds) Vivian is also an avid supporter of the Saga Society, the local humane society on Ambergris Caye. Through donations from Printech Unlimited, the Saga Society has just broke ground on the construction of the islands only animal shelter. Printech Unlimited has also designed, printed and donated “Belize” calendars to both Green Reef and Saga Society, the sales of which have become one of their major fundraisers each year. .
